WRNR Taps Rich Fisher, Jimi Haha, and Mark Bryan for New Shows

WRNR (93.5) in Annapolis and Silver Spring is leaning hard into its “local legends” lane with a revamped Saturday lineup that brings some familiar Maryland names to the air.

Starting this Saturday the station adds a block of personality-driven programming. Rich Fisher, a longtime WRNR voice who seems to keep finding his way back to the station, kicks things off from 3 to 6pm. From there, it’s two musicians with real ties to the region taking over: Jimi Haha (of Jimmie’s Chicken Shack) from 6 to 7pm, followed by Mark Bryan of Hootie & the Blowfish from 7 to 8pm. Bryan co-wrote Hold My Hand, Only Wanna Be with You, and Let Her Cry.

WRNR returned to the FM dial last year on 93.5 in Annapolis and has recently expanded its reach via the Silver Spring 93.5 signal. They’re doubling down on personality with a lineup that includes local DJs, Dave Z, Carrie Evans, and Neci, as well as Bob Waugh on Saturdays.
