WTOP Wins NAB Award

WTOP has been named a winner of the prestigious 2025 NAB Crystal Radio Award, honoring its dedication to year-round community service.

The National Association of Broadcasters announced the winners at its annual State Leadership Conference today.

WTOP was among 10 radio stations selected from 50 finalists, recognized for their outstanding commitment to serving their communities beyond the airwaves.

The NAB Crystal Radio Awards, now in their 38th year, celebrate stations that consistently engage with their audiences through charitable initiatives, emergency response efforts, and public service campaigns.

Other winners included WCBS in New York, KSFI in Salt Lake City, and WUSL in Philadelphia.

Hubbard Broadcasting’s WJJY in Brainerd, Minn., also received the elite Crystal Heritage Award for earning five Crystal Radio Awards over time.
