WTSD Sale Complete, Return to Air Planned Soon
Faith & Values Media Group has completed its $450,000 purchase of WTSD (1190 AM) in Leesburg and plans to resume broadcasting with a new religious format soon.
WTSD has been silent since March, when iHeartMedia ended its Local Marketing Agreement with the station’s previous owner, Potomac Radio Group. Under the LMA, WTSD had been carrying iHeart’s Sports DC format. When the agreement ended, the sports programming moved to 101.1-HD2 (WWDC), and WTSD went silent.
