Annapolis’s WYRE-AM has taken their FM translator at 99.9 FM silent today.
They are now in the process of constructing a new 240-watt facility at 93.5 FM.
They expect to have the new station on-air in the next 90 to 120 days, but today, they filed with the FCC to remain silent for 180 days out of an “abundance of caution”.
