Five New Members Join MPT Foundation Board
The fundraising arm of Maryland Public Television has added five new members to its board of directors. The MPT Foundation, Inc. announced that Dr. Cynthia Boyle, Chris Fenger, Daniel Freeman, Irwin Kramer, and Doug Schwab have each been elected to three-year terms on the volunteer board.
The new directors bring backgrounds spanning public media, law, education, government, business, and community service.
The MPT Foundation serves as the 501(c)(3) fundraising affiliate of Maryland Public Television, helping secure private donations and foundation grants to support the statewide public television network’s educational and community programming efforts.
