Ina Jaffey, who spent 36 years as a correspondent for National Public Radio, has passed away.
Jaffe was the first editor for Weekend Edition.
She had been open about living with cancer for the past few years. She died Thursday with her husband at her side.
Ina Jaffey was 75.
