Sonny Jurgensen, the Hall of Fame quarterback and sports broadcaster has died. He was 91.
Jurgensen arrived in Washington in 1964 and played 11 seasons with Washington.
From 1981 until his retirement in 2019, Sonny Jurgensen was one-third of Sonny, Sam, and Frank. Alongside Sam Huff and Frank Herzog. Jurgensen called then games on WMAL and later WJFK. More from Commanders.com and CBS.
