1190 WTSD Sold

Potomac Radio Group is selling WTSD (1190 AM) in Leesburg to Faith & Values Media Group for $450,000. The deal was signed March 13, 2026.

WTSD has been off the air in recent months after its local marketing agreement with iHEARTMEDIA ended earlier this year. The station had been carrying sports programming as part of the iHeart Sports DC lineup, but went silent after that arrangement expired. In prior FCC filings, the company indicated it was facing financial challenges and had been unable to secure a new programming partner or buyer.

Under the terms of the agreement, the buyer will pay $450,000 at closing, with a $45,000 deposit already submitted and applied toward the purchase price. The deal is subject to FCC approval.
