Six Layoffs At WTOP
DCRTV hears that Hubbard’s WTOP has gone through another round of layoffs.
Sadly, the country’s top-billing radio station isn’t immune to the challenges of the current media environment.
The layoffs include Reporter Jason Fraley, in IT/Engineering George Molnar and Zach Shore, in Website Development Antonello Favaro, and Santos Dahal, and in the accounting department Sam Millstone, will be leaving the station at the end of the year.
In addition, WTOP is eliminating the AM Traffic Producer role, and several reporters will have their hours reduced.
